Understanding what Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is?

FASD is an increasingly recognised condition, yet for many it is unclear how it presents, what factors influence how it presents and how it links to other conditions. This session will look at factors influencing risk, signs and symptoms of FASD presentation, recognition and its relationship to attachment, neglect and other neurodevelopmental disorders as well as touching on how to support children and families.

The session will be facilitated by Raja Mukherjee, Consultant Psychiatrist, Clincial Lead Adult NDD& FASD, CCIO PLD from the Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Service.
